ACT Government's Solar & Battery Storage Rebates, Incentives, Grant, and Loan

The ACT Government highly promoting sustainable & clean energy and providing $5000(2500*2) rebates as upfront costs of installing rooftop solar and energy-efficient home appliances like solar hot water systems, heat pump water heaters etc. under Home Energy Support Program. If you are eligible for the Home Energy Support Program, you may also be able to get a zero‑interest loan of up to $10,000 for products such as rooftop solar.

At ACT, You can get low-interest loan, with a 3% interest rate “Green Loan” upto $15,000 for upgrading your property with energy-efficient home appliances such as battery storage, solar hot water systems, heat pump water heaters, EV chargers etc. under the ACT Government’s Sustainable Household Scheme. You have up to 10 years to repay it.

Apartment complex owner’s corporation in ACT can get up to $50,000 as Commonwealth grant/rebate and up to $50,000 as zero-interest green loan for installing rooftop solar system under the Solar Banks Initiative of the Commonwealth Government and the ACT Government’s Sustainable Household Scheme which is managed by Solar for Apartments Program. For green loan $50,000, owner’s corporation have up to 10 years to repay it.

NSW Government's Solar & Battery Storage Rebates, Incentives, and Grant

Eligible NSW residents can access zero-interest loans of up to $15,000 to install energy-saving and cost-cutting upgrades such as rooftop solar, household batteries, insulation, reverse-cycle air conditioning etc. under the Home Energy Saver Program. In addition to loans, the program will provide discounts of up to $4,000 to eligible families looking to upgrade with energy-saving measures.

The NSW Government providing 50% of total cost up to $150,000 of installing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in the Apartment Complex under the Solar for Apartment Residents (SoAR) Grant Program. The VIC Government providing a rebate of up to $1,400 and an interest-free loan of up to $1,400 for the installation of solar panel (PV) systems under the Solar Panel (PV) Rebate Program. SA Government's Solar & Battery Storage Rebates, Incentives, and Grant

The City of Adelaide Municipal Corporation provides incentives up to $5,000 (1.5–10 kW: up to $1,000, 10–20 kW: up to $2,500 and 20+ kW: up to $5,000) that cover covers 20% of the installation costs of Solar PV system for their residents under the Sustainability Incentives Scheme.
